Enoki jsou porcelánově bílé, jemné houbičky se sametovou nohou a malými hlavičkami. Mají příjemné ovocno-ořechové aroma a křupavou strukturu. V japonsku i celé asii jsou považovány za delikatesu. Pro svoji křehkost a lahodnost se nejčastěji na poslední chvíli přidávají syrové do hotových polévek, salátů nebo se s nimi dodzdobují hotové pokrmy – jejich estetická funkce je nenahraditelná. Případná tepelná úprava by měla být velmi krátká. Použití: Sáček rozbalte a příčným řezem cca 2-4 cm od spodní části odstraňte zbytky substrátu i s nožičkami.
